ABOUT THE CAPTAIN....

I have been fishing Lake Michigan since the age of twelve which gives me over 28

years of fishing experience out there!

I was born and raised in Racine, WI.- I know the lake and the fish very well.

I am certified in medic 1st aid and cpr. I work as shipping mgr. for Pioneer Products Inc. right

here in Racine just 6 minutes from my 2nd home - The "Fishmeister II"

I really enjoy people and I try my hardest to make their fishing trip a pleasant and memorable one!

My 2002 season was one of the most enjoyable and action packed seasons that I can remember.

My son Alex has turned out to be a great help on the back deck and is following in Dad's image.

We sent quite a few of our customers away with fish for the trophy room and truely enjoyed

taking each and everyone of our clients out for a great time on the water. We've added some new

electronics to the Fishmeister II for 2001. We now will be graphing fish with a bottomline

tournament champion series graph/gps chart nav with side scan. I will also be carrying a Garmin

gps III plus handheld on the days when I'm working the Deck. We Captains love our gadgets!

My thanks to all that fished with me in 2002 and I hope to see all of you

back in 2003 as well as some new faces. I hope that you have a chance to experience the thrill of

fighting and landing a trophy sized trout or salmon with us in 2003!

    Why fish Racine?

When it comes to Trout and Salmon Fishing, Racine has been one of the most talked about areas on Lake Michigan. Our catch ratios of fish produced per hour remain consistently one of the highest on Lake Michigan. Racine has an abundance of bottom structure such as reefs shoals and steep underwater drops and hills which hold and sustain a steady population of game fish. The possibility of landing a trophy size trout or salmon is always present. There are some real LUNKERS out there to be taken! I have fished Lake Michigan for over 28 years and have had very few disappointments. I hope to share in the enjoyment of fishing Lake Michigan with you.
